A dish filled with flowers that looks like a floral cushion. A cushion full of autumn flowers and exotic varieties, complemented by date palm branches.

1. Place a dish with floral foam on a base.

2. Start with the date palm branch and arrange the twigs on the opposite side so that all the elements are visually connected.

3. Insert everything radially into the floral foam from one central point.

4. By arranging the flowers in groups, you create a contemporary and stylish look.

For this creation, Josef used a base of several twigs secured together with wire. The flowers and ornamental grasses are attached at the top. This creates an open composition in which the flowers remain clearly visible.

He combines carnations, roses and hydrangeas with delicate grasses and millet-like seed heads of wild carrot. The result is a soft autumnal creation.

1. Secure the floral foam holder to a branch at two points using wire for optimal stability.

2. Build your creation so that it can stand on its own. Gradually add more branches and position the floral foam holder so that there is plenty of room to incorporate flowers.

3. Use flat-nose pliers to secure the branches firmly so they do not wobble. Cut off any excess wire once it is no longer needed.

4. Arrange the flowers in groups and leave plenty of space between them. Trim delicate elements, such as asparagus foliage, and enjoy the natural movement and dynamics this creates.
