Meet Anna, the founder of The Mallorca Experience: a creative event where florists come together in Mallorca to find inspiration, collaborate and learn new techniques. In this guest blog, Anna shares how she experiences summer, where she finds her inspiration and which flowers and trends she believes are essential this season.

For Anna, summer is the absolute peak season, and she loves it. The long days, bringing new concepts to life and guiding couples through one of the most beautiful days of their lives give her a great deal of energy. It is an intense period, but it is precisely when she feels at her best.
A long summer holiday is usually not an option for her. After all, summer is both the busiest and the most creative period in the wedding industry. Nevertheless, she believes it is important to create small moments in which she can recharge. She does this by travelling, enjoying good food, discovering exceptional hotels and new places, or simply escaping her daily routine for a while. These moments often provide new ideas for future projects.
Anna finds inspiration everywhere, often when she is not consciously looking for it. Colours, materials, light, architecture or flowers growing along the roadside: anything can become the starting point for a new design.

“No,” Anna laughs. “During the summer, I am completely focused on the season. At the moment, I particularly enjoy the developments I am seeing in weddings and events.”
According to Anna, couples are increasingly choosing flowers that tell a story and create a particular atmosphere. This makes every design personal and unique.
When it comes to flowers and trends, Anna believes garden roses, hydrangeas and anthuriums are essential. In her opinion, they each convey a sense of elegance, structure and modernity. Garden roses create a romantic look, hydrangeas add volume and softness, while anthuriums introduce a modern and powerful accent. She loves creations that look organic, are not overly perfect and still create a strong atmosphere.
At the end of the day, Anna believes floral design is about much more than creating a beautiful arrangement.
