Watch how they finish their floral arrangements with Rhodos

There are a number of criteria that a red rose must satisfy. If you’re creating a floral arrangement that exudes love and romance you want flowers that bloom majestically, while a longer vase life and an easy-to-retain shape is more desirable in a bouquet. So, what do florists prefer? Watch the video!

We asked two florists (Anja of BonBonFleur and Remko of Florifère) to create a beautiful arrangement with Rhodos Classic and Premium Rhodos roses. In this report you can read all about how they their experiences with these varieties. Interested to find out how they set to work? The video below will give you a peek behind the scenes.

Rhodos roses come from Kenya, where they grow at an altitude of 2865 metres in the hills near Nairobi. Thanks to the climate, these roses have a dense head of petals and bloom in a surprisingly beautiful shape, which will remain intact even after the flower has been cut. This makes it easy to estimate what the floral arrangement you are creating – for an event, for example – will look like. The longer vase life and sturdiness of the Rhodos distinguishes this rose from a romantic rose, or a rose with a lot of presence.
