GUEST BLOG | ‘Bridal blush‘ perfect for this season
'Living coral' is the Pantone colour of 2019. This vibrant pastel hue is clearly reflected in the trends for the coming wedding season. Designer Sylvia Hartmann is a fan of 'Bridal Blush'.
“Bridal Blush is still one of my favourites for flower arrangements at weddings. You could also perfectly combine this fine art formation with brighter flowers in tints of orange or red.”
Gives the table a luxurious appearance
A beautiful flower arrangement is an essential element of a wedding couple’s table. Sylvia’s stylish creation combined luxury pampas grass, wax flowers, nerines, tuberose, and roses. She framed her design with eucalyptus greenery and natural branches. “The golden bowl underscores the elegance of the arrangement discreetly. Metal, glass, brass and aluminium accessories are particularly popular with this style, where less is more!
“For the party table, I used ceramic vases with an avant-garde, modern look. I filled the vases with white flowers; lovely playful nerines, roses, natural branches and wild anemones. It’s important to arrange the flowers lightly and loosely."
Combine colours
Sylvia has another tip for everyone working with this colour palette. “For the current season, lots of white, pinks, creams and pastels are obviously still popular. However, this time orange tints in combination with old pink, red and dark red have been added! Every wedding couple has a different style and concept, which makes it all very challenging."
