That same message also applies to Bart Hassam, a floral designer from Australia. His passion for flowers and floral design started at a young age. His Saturday grandma was a member of the local garden club and the floral art association.
Bart: “Every Saturday I was with her. She taught me plant names and we gardened together.”
Since then, his passion for the floral world has never faded. He earned his certificate in commercial floristry, worked for ten years for competition florist Yoko Takahashi, and was named Australian Interflora Florist of the Year five times. Today, he owns three flower studios in Australia with 18 employees and spends the other half of his life travelling the world to teach internationally. With his story, Bart shows that growth begins with passion.
