This talented floral designer is taking part in World Skills Lyon 2024, a prestigious event where she will showcase her skills. With the support of her coach, Björn Kroner, Kim is ready to show the world what she has to offer.
Career in floral design
Kim works at La Floria in Zwickau, where she unleashes her creativity on a daily basis. Her work ranges from designing beautiful bouquets and event decorations to creating funeral arrangements, table decorations and wedding decorations. She also develops unique plant arrangements and works closely with customers to fulfil their wishes and surprise them with creative ideas.
Life motto and inspiration
Her life motto, "Be grateful and always keep developing yourself," reflects her positive and inquisitive attitude. Kim's passion for flowers was sparked by her mother, who runs a flower shop. Since childhood, she knew she wanted to do something creative. This early passion got her where she is today and inspires her to encourage others to consider a career in floral design. According to Kim, this unique combination of creativity and customer service offers irreplaceable satisfaction.
