FleuraMetz op de German Floristry Championship 2024

At the prestigious Deutschen Meisterschaft der Floristik 2024, it was Josef Dirr who won the coveted title with his impressive floral creations. His work was praised for its exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship, making him the well-deserved winner!
The championship took place at the historic site of the Bikini Concept Shopping mall and the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche, where the bouquets were beautifully displayed. The arrangements, presented on black columns and atmospherically lit, created a mystical atmosphere that perfectly complemented the monumental building.
FleuraMetz was proud to sponsor the prize for the best bouquet, which was won by Lena Hartmann. With a perfect score of 100 points - the first in the history of the competition - she delivered a unique achievement. Lena will soon travel with us to Ecuador, and her reaction to the win spoke volumes: ‘Das ist das schönste, was es gibt!’
The flowers for the surprise assignment were sponsored by FleuraMetz. The result? Nine surprising creations, which you can admire in the gallery on our Masterpieces X DMF page, complete with accompanying flower lists!

We also had the pleasure of providing the current world champion, Nicolaus Peters, with flowers for his impressive creations in the Gedächtniskirche. His feedback? ‘Wunderschöne Ware!’
