Creations by Jennifer Mühlbauer in florieren! magazine

martes 20 mayo 2025

Jennifer Mühlbauer, known for her third place in the Deutsche Meisterschaft der Floristen (DMF), created two floral arrangements especially for florieren! Magazine in collaboration with Masterpieces and FleuraMetz. Her creations reflect the theme ‘Life in childhood’. In this article, Jennifer shares her interpretation of growth, intuition and the powerful essence of early life, all of which are embodied in her work.

Life in childhood

Creation 1: Vase with Elm Seeds – Kinder an die Macht

This design is inspired by the song “Kinder an die Macht” by Herbert Grönemeyer. Jennifer expresses the dynamic between chaos, wildness, and calm moments. Each flower has its own space to grow and move freely. Seeds were consciously chosen as a base element, symbolizing the eternal cycle of life: every seed holds a unique personality.

The vase, covered in elm seeds, represents balance, peace, and love, everything a child needs to thrive. The elm itself stands for intuition, the foundation on which children naturally live.

Creation 2: Bouquet – Bound for Eternity!

Jennifer’s second piece is made of two interconnected bouquets: a large one for the parents and a smaller one representing the newborn child. The large bouquet symbolizes the parents’ life story: memories and moments they want to pass on. These are reflected in the diverse characters of the flowers.

The small bouquet represents the newborn. Composed of only a few blooms, each chosen for its healing or symbolic meaning. For example, chamomile was traditionally used as a protective plant above cradles. Jennifer used delicate, refined flowers for a tender and harmonious result.

A fine, subtle wire connects both bouquets: bound for eternity.
