The story The products

Elegant stems, romantic appearance. With its star-shaped flower the triteleia is a typical summer flower that gives a graceful ‘touch’ to every bouquet. Preferred Supplier P.N. van der Meer grows these flowers.

Global Gap

The nursery has a Global Gap certificate. The climate control is completely automatic; lights, screen cloth, windows and heating come into action when it is needed.The triteleia bulbs go into the ground, where a net goes over it. On top of that tulip bulbs are planted, so 1 part can be used multiple times a year.

Strong stems

Preferred Supplier P.N. van der Meer: "We are always busy exploring new varieties. We organize a testlocation after we see the variety. We then explore in which greenhouse it can best be grown and in what stage. With respect to the triteleia we especially look for strong stems.”
