Lovely Astilbe Rutgrink

Astilbes are grown all year round, indoors and outdoors in the Netherlands and in Spain. Astilbes come in white, pink, red and purple. To distribute the beautiful summer flowers properly, they all go into the machine, where photos are taken of each astilbe. Thus, they are sorted by length and then tied together.

Of all the astilbes going to America, many are used for weddings. So when the family visited florists there, they were told that florists stock astilbe is often totally reserved. Sometimes as early as two years ahead! So many couples choose the dainty flower for their most beautiful day.
