On more than forty hectares of open fields, they cultivate forty different cut flowers, including Achillea, Alchemilla, Asclepia, Astrantia, Campanula, Delphinium, Limonium, Phlox, Rudbeckia, Solidaster, Hypericum, Ageratum, Amaranthus, Dahlia, Snapdragon, Sunflower Sonja, Sedum, Dill, Nigella, Calendula, Solidago, and Carthamus.
The flowers are hand-picked, sorted by stem length using a sorting machine, and bundled accordingly. This ensures continuity and quality for FM Group. “I really enjoy working together. FM is a company that always brings new ideas. And these ideas align well with the market; it’s truly an innovative company.”
“It is hard work, from early morning until late at night,” says Martin Grutsch. Outside in the open air, a wide variety of summer flowers grow on more than forty hectares of land. “Even in bad weather, work continues, and not just for us. The flowers grow in open soil, which gives them vibrant and rich colors. They are also stronger and more resilient, as they have had to adapt to changing weather conditions.”
