In Voorhout, Jaco and his brother Dirk own a beautiful daffodil nursery. About 20 varieties of daffodils are harvested per day on approximately 1 hectare indoors. Outside, the company has 80 hectares for bulb cultivation. In addition to these 80 hectares, WF Leenen also has cultivation areas in England, Morocco, Chile, and Australia.

Jaco proudly tells about growing daffodils on North Sea shells. Almost all types of daffodils are grown on shells instead of in potting soil. Or in potting soil, sprinkled with North Sea shells. This is a cleaner way of cultivation, because no soil remains on the stems. It is also better for nature. Moreover, the product has already been inspected, and there is no need for inspection before the product is exported.
